We want to keep things super clear and easy, so here are the simple rules you agree to by using our website and buying our products. 

When you use our site, you agree to follow these Terms and all applicable laws. If you don't agree with these rules, please don't use our site. 

1. The Basics

We’re Hot Dang Press (you knew that!), and throughout these Terms we may be referred to as “Company,” “we,” “us,” and, “our”. We operate the website hotdangpress.com (the ‘Site’), as well as other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the “Terms”) (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Ordering Our Goods

Accuracy: We work hard to make sure our product descriptions, photos, and prices are accurate. However, things happen. If there is a mistake in your order or a serious error on the site, we reserve the right to correct it or cancel the order, with a full refund, of course.

Availability: All orders are subject to availability. If an item sells out unexpectedly, we’ll let you know right away.

Mistakes: Please double-check your shipping address! We aren't responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address you provided. 

Return Policy: We accept returns that are shipped back in original packaging for a full refund of the original amount paid. We just ask that you pay the return shipping.

Start a return by emailing your order to hello@hotdangpress.com. 

Until Jan 1, 2026, we’ll accept returns on sheets that were made with a different manufacturing process. We had a manufacturing change that made some of our sheets less than ideal for use, and let’s just say we’re still cycling through all the sheets from that time. While we have gone back to our preferred manufacturing processes, some anomalous product may still be circulating. Per our social video, we’re offering a replacement of any ordered sheets that didn’t hold up or perform how you wanted them to. We’re going to honor this replacement offer until Jan 1, 2026, at which point we’ll be confident our best quality product has been sold to you. This offer is only for end-user customers who opened and used their Hot Dang, not for replacements or refunds on wholesale orders. On January 1, 2026, we’ll switch to the standard return policy above for everything. 

3. Your Content

If you share photos, reviews, or other content with us (through social media or direct upload), you give us permission to use that content to promote our products and brand. Don't worry, you still own it — you're just contributing to our craft community!

4. Product Safety

Our products are designed and manufactured to meet applicable safety standards. Please use them only for their intended purpose, and supervise children under 18 during the application process. If you have any concerns about materials, allergies, or proper usage, please reach out to us before use.  

California Prop 65 Warning: 

WARNING: This product may expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer.

While exposure to harmful chemicals from this product is believed to be minimal and well within safety guidelines, we provide this warning to comply with California law (Prop 65) requiring disclosure of vinyl chloride in our products.

5. Limited Liability

We stand by the quality of our products. However, our liability for any issues arising from your use of our products or our website is limited to the price of the product you purchased. We are not responsible for any misuse of the products or any accidental damage that might occur.

We respect your privacy and promise to handle your information responsibly.

What We Collect

We only collect the information necessary to fulfill your order and improve your experience, which includes:

• Your name, shipping address, email, and payment details when you make a purchase.

• Non-personal data like browsing activity (what pages you visit) to help us make the website better.

How We Communicate

• Transactional Emails: We’ll use your email address to send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and customer service responses.

• Marketing Emails: We will only send you marketing emails (like new product alerts or special offers, never spam) if you explicitly opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Data Sharing and Security

• We DO NOT sell your data. Full stop.

• We only share your information with trusted, essential third-party service providers who help us run our business (e.g., shipping carriers, payment processors like Stripe or PayPal, and basic web hosting services). These parties are required to keep your data secure and confidential.
